Caledonian Sky

The newly finished "upgrade" of the Caledonian Sky at Gotenius in Gothenburg is seen at the Amerca quay bunkering and waiting for a cruise for specially invited guests and a trip to London.

Minutes before departure, the alarm sounds and they practise "abandon ship". But after that, they ease off the berth.

According to the homepage of the managing company Salen Ship Management, the Caledonian Sky was built in 1991 and refurbished 2011/2012. She carries a crew of 71, tendering 114 passengers, in a 90,6 long and 15,3 meters wide vessel.

All the above pictures from May 6th, 2012.
